Stead Papers, 1966-1988, undated.

The Stead Papers consist of 3 groups of materials. The first group was received with Stead's gift to the Medical Center Library of an inscribed copy of "Psychiatric aspects of headache", inscribed to Stead by Charles Adler in his own name and in the name of his deceased wife. This material includes 4 photos of Sheila Morrissey Adler and information pertaining to her death in 1986. The second group of material consists of correspondence to Dr. and Mrs. Stead from Lois DeBakey and from Raymond D. Pruitt. The letter from Dr. Pruitt was laid in the presentation copy of "The unending adventure". The third group of material consists of miscellaneous items removed from books donated to the Library by Dr. Stead.
